Barack Obama attended an Islamic school growing up in Indonesia and his father was a Muslim.

Obama's experience within Islam as a boy should give him a unique perspective into Islam unlike any other U.S. President.

How do you feel the election of Barack Obama will impact Islam in America?

Take the latest Truth For Muslims poll.

Had Obama had that instruction and experience as a kid, and then grown up to express a traditional/historic/orthodox Christian faith, I would have said that his Islamic/international experiences broadened him. But as it is, it is NOT the case.

Personally, I think Obama is more of a Muslim than he is a Christian.

Why do I think this? Because he attended a radical Marxist black liberation church for 23 years; a church whose pastor routinely showered Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan with praise and made him their “man of the year.”

The focus of black liberation theology - true to its Marxist heritage - is NOT Jesus Christ, but a Marxist conception of blacks as a poor oppressed class. It is far more about class- and race-based socialism and grievances against oppressive white society than it is about Christ.

An article I read about the Trinity United bookstore specifically pointed out there were more books on Islam, the Nation of Islam, and black liberation theology, than there were on orthodox Christianity.

Barack Obama not only participated in Farrakhan’s Million Man March, but was one of the leaders.

And his buddies are guys like Rashid Khalidi, not guys like Billy Graham.

Barack Obama does not seem to mind radicals who don’t have a problem exercising violence in the name of their cause, like Bill Ayers.

I support the state of Israel unequivocally. But I have reasons to believe that Obama does. He said Jerusalem should be the undivided capital of Israel, and then went back on it the moment the Palestinians complained. They can’t trust him to stand by them.

Barack Obama’s opposition to the war in Iraq - which is fundamentally identical to the situation re: any war in Iran - means that if Israel doesn’t want to vanish in a mushroom cloud, they will have to attack Iran themselves.

What does your post have to do with this thread’s topic?

I thought the topic of this thread was about the pro-Israeli, rabid attack dog named as Obama’s Chief of Staff.

And the first response is from you (and you sure did respond fast — you’re the second post) and it’s trying to keep that silly rumor alive about Obama being a Muslim.

Yep! Obama sure sounds like a Muslim to me when his first cabinet-level appointment is to Rahm Emanuel. From wikipedia: His father, the Jerusalem-born Benjamin M. Emanuel, is a pediatrician and former member of the Irgun,[29][28] a militant Zionist group active in the British Mandate of Palestine between 1931 and 1948. His mother, Martha Smulevitz, worked as an X-ray technician and was the daughter of a local union organizer.

That clinches it! Obama must be a Muslim!
