There was NO ad hominem. I had an honest question because there are some conservative atheists and/or people of other faiths who post on FreeRepublic. I wanted to know if you believed in moral absolutes or not.
As for what you stated about Jesus, there is a place for righteous anger. Jesus would never, however, use immoral, unethical means to accomplish a good end. If that were the case, there would be NO such thing as a moral absolute.
Example: Democrats used voter registration fraud and, most likely voter fraud....not to mention illegally collecting money for their purposes. No Christian conservative should EVER resort to such tactics.
Perhaps you should be more specific about exactly what you favor copying from the “Alinsky rules,” since that is where their strategy came from.
Thanks for clearing up the question and glad to learn it wasn’t intended as an ad hominem.
Read my other posts. I said, “anything legal is fair game.”
We’ve been far too polite. We’ve avoided making a scene. We just wanted to get along. We need to acknowledge that they consider us the enemy and will never be our friends. Trust me, I lived in Seattle for about 10 years. There is no befriending them. Being quiet only encourages their vitriol and convinces them they are right.
I’m only suggesting getting far more aggressive and impolite, if need be. We have to expand our tactics to include those tactics they use that persuade opinion, make people pause before being strident or vitriolic.
In short, no more Mr. Nice Guy, and we’ve got to crank up the protests and raise our voices.
