We all agree that the media really went out of their way of making Obama look like Christ Himself. They would look the other way if he did something wrong...but criticized McCain/Palin to the bitter end. We need to take some action. Let's start with CNN.

I miss the technical aspects of my old profession but not the endless childlike mentalties I put up with for so many years.
I’m ahead of you. I deleted CNN and MSNBC cable channels from my TV memory two days ago. Now I won’t even accidentally view anything from them. And the ABC, CBS, NBC national news will not get turned on during their time slots either. By-by to the biased bastards!!!
Did you ever meet Lynn Russell ? omg she was my fav
That's it? Don't watch it? Genius! </sarc> Why in the world does the author assume his readers have been watching CNN all these years? You can only take so much abuse. I quit watching CNN somewhere around 1992.
I have no problem starting with CNN, but let’s discuss & brainstorm more, should we not start with LATIMEs (Tape?!!), or New York Times?
We need get big Talk involved because without their audience, we don’t have enough power.
Email Rush, Sean, etc.
I find that sometimes conservative groups have their own little agenda & we fail to work together. “Who are you to tell me that i have to follow you?” It’s our ego?
If you started calling for the boycott, I am not going to join in? sigh.
LeeGary,
You are an idiot if you just figured this out. Maybe you are just a troll. In any case, you are completely unworthy of intellectual respect.
I wish I could buy fox news direct from the network via the internet. I would cancel dish network and tell them that they can pound sand until they stop bundling cnn and msnbc in the basic package while making me pay for Fox news. I feel like they are forcing me to pay for the anti-American views being spewed at cnn and msnbc. I hate sending them a check knowing it is making Ted Turner and little chrissy matthews rich when I don’t ever watch them. if we could hit them in the pocket book, it might make them blink.
We need to get Rupert Murdock to break with the other networks & offer internet access to the channel. (See my prior post)
I would pay 10 bucks a month for access to Fox news without having to send a check every month to dish network. They would get the point pretty fast if every conservative subscriber cancelled their bundled packages and went directly to Fox news for access.
I’m way ahead on that call too!
Re CNN on airport and other TV’s. Already broached this last year with Continental Airlines management in Houston-made a trip to their office and asked to see who was in charge. Turns out that the TV’s in the waiting areas are owned and provided by the channel that is on the screen. Hence CNN provides the TV with the understanding that no other channels will ever be shown. Not only that but there is no way to change the channel. Same thing at the local branch of Wells Fargo Bank where I went to turn in some change for paper money-noticed it and asked the bank manager. I will gladly boycott CNN and other news channels except that we haven’t watched it for almost a year. We had the weather channel on 24-7 during Ike because it was bearing down on us and only Dirty Jobs, the history and science channels. - I have grandsons!
Not a bad start. But not watching it is not enough. As we can see reading the comments here, there are already plenty of people not watching CNN.
Here’s what I propose.
We target one major sponsor of CNN. One that is easy to boycott; one whose products we commonly use, but whose products can easily be replaced or not used in our daily lives. We let these people know in clear terms that until they pull their advertising support of CNN, we will boycott their company. At the same time, we let CNN know what we are doing and why. We make it clear that we are sick of the bias in covering our candidate, we make it clear that we are sick of them casting various groups in the Republican party in negative light unfairly. We tell them that when it stops, we will quit boycotting their sponsor. If it continues, we expand the boycott to another company. I could be wrong, but I would bet big money that this would work.
We have to go after the root; we have to go after their pocketbooks.
By making one example of a CNN sponsor, we put the other sponsors of liberal MSM on notice.
By making an example of CNN, we put the other MSM networks on notice.
As with any operation that depends on making an example of someone, the example made has to be very strong. We cannot do this half-heartedly.
