The result of this election is exactly why our Founding Fathers established a Republic and not a Democracy. When the mob finds that they can vote that someone else’s wealth be given to them, the nation cannot survive. Look at Hugo Chavez’s Venezuela as just the most recent example of peasants voting in a Communist so they get someone else’s “pie”.
