Re: Its over.
This lovely experiment probably didnt stand much of a chance, but then, if the people THEN had been anything like the people NOW- America would never have happened.
This reads like DU in 2000 and 2004. Let’s not be like them. We lost one election, after having an unpopular president, bad economy, being outspent 3 to 1, and a media which is in the tank for the dems. All of that and we lost by a few percent. It is not the end of the world.
And exactly WHY was W so unpopular? Because the MEDIA said so? When did we lose our discernment? When did we start believing THEM?
We did not just lose an election here- THIS is so much more. It is the culmination of what the left has been doing in this country for the past 70 years- gradually destroying everything we EVER thought about ourselves. This isn’t just losing an election- not by a long shot.
We should have stayed awake. We should have fought the formation of the agencies as nests for leftists, we should have fought the control of the public schools by the left (our greatest loss), we should have fought the ACLU and the destruction of our culture by the poisonous left in the media and hollywood.
But we didn’t and now we reap the whirlwind. This wasn’t just a “lost election”.
This reads like DU in 2000 and 2004. Lets not be like them. We lost one election . . . by a few percent.
All the last elections were won/lost by liberals vs conservatives. The losers picked themselves up, dusted themselves off, and went after the opposition again in two years. This time we have a Communist in power who will use every means to keep the others down in the dust by any means available - existing, or if needs be, invented.
It is not the end of the world.
I sure hope so - it's gonna be a Helluva fight in any event.
I agree; it's not the end of the world. The end of America, yes. But not the end of the world.
