It's all part of the Hope and Change... After the election Democrats plan to continue their attacks on conservative Americans. The votes haven't even been counted yet and they're already calling for the return of the Fairness Doctrine.
That was nice- Schumer just compared conservative talk to pornography. Senator Charles Schumer announced today that there will be a return of the Fairness Doctrine:
Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Tuesday defended the so-called Fairness Doctrine in an interview on Fox News, saying, I think we should all be fair and balanced, dont you?

Fairness? Does this mean they are going to replace Brian Williams, Charlie Gibson, and Katie Couric with Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, and Michelle Malkin?
Until, unless the Dems win big and/or get an unfilibusterable majority, this is just all leftist wet dream.
Consider the source. Chuckie and the other moonbats have been barking at the “Fairness Doctrine” for the past several years. They haven’t been able to pull it off yet and are not likely to without a supermajority.
“Gateway Pundit” is a proven intellectually dishonest blog. I wouldn’t trust it to tell me the correct time of day.
Yeah Chuckie, and since you've had your sorry @** in a House or Senate seat purportedly representing the state of New York for a couple of decades now, I think it would be "fair" for you to step down and let someone else have a crack at it, and it would be "balanced" for NY to have a Republican Senator across the aisle from Shrillary? Don't you, Chuckie?
Of course you don't - read my tagline, you stinking pig.
When the fairness doctrine came up a few years ago, Rush joked they would never get rid of him. He said if it came to it, he would set up on an oil derrick in international waters and blast his signal into the US totally free of ANY FCC regulations like Radio Free American does to communist countries. I wonder if this would actually be an option?
Just keep pushing. Rue the day.
Schumer is on a Fox News video stating that he wants to apply the Fairness Doctrine to radio and TV. What does that have to do with Gateway Pundit?
FWIW, that "road trip" I've been on for two weeks: overwhelming McCain support. States: Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, W. Virginia, Virginia, N. & S. Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi. The stops were mostly to gas stations, restaurants, hotels, tourist areas and road side places. Joe the plumber is resonating with Sam the Pizza man, etc, across this nation. Main thing I was hearing, who is this Obama? Very few people were comfortable with who he was; in fact, most people were extremely concerned about the lack of knowledge about information on Obama, and were pissed-off that information wasn't being given to citizens) Also, Obama's lack of experience was a major concern among these fellow citizens I have been rubbing elbow's with over the course of two weeks. My sample may be skewed, but, it sure gave me the most realistic snapshot I have seen to date. I am not sure who these journalist have been interviewing, but it sure wasn't the sample I encountered.
