There is no urban legend. Unless you are an idiot, everyone knows that Bush won the popular vote in 2004 by three million votes.
There was a FL congresswoman on saying that students ahve not voted yet because they have classes.

The Democrats always look only at the Ohio vote in 2004, because it was the closest state that could have given the election to Kerry if Kerry had carried it.
Bush carried Ohio by 118,601 votes. As the Democrats view it, if half of those voters (59,301) had changed their minds and voted for Kerry instead of voting for Bush, then Kerry would have won Ohio and had enough electors to win the electoral college vote. Hence the repeated claim that "Kerry lost by only 60,000 votes."
I know it is convoluted and difficult to follow, but so are most Democrat minds.
BTW, Bush's 3,000,000 vote lead gave him a total of 50.73% of the popular vote. Only three Democrat presidential candidates have ever won more than 50.73% of the popular vote: Lyndon Johnson, Franklin Roosevelt, and Andrew Jackson.
Yep, which is why Obama’s poll numbers should be viewed with a grain of salt. The Fox poll has Obama trailing McCain by just 6% among white males. Bush won the white male vote in 2004 by 25% over Kerry. For more than 50 years, white males have been the GOP’s power base. For some unexplained reason Obama has reduced the number by 19%. Something is serioiusly wrong with these polls.
