Funny, but I used to work at a large cable company, and no such control room exists. The only place where such a control room exists is at DirecTV and Dish Network.
Why would a local cable company need to know if Fox News breaks into their regular programming to bring you breaking news? Why would the local cable company even care? What would this ‘control room operator’ at the local cable company do about it?
