Martell helps teacher’s son (Michigan)Prayer request

TROY — Ian McPherson, 23, loves life. He is passionate about carpentry, motorcycling, target range practice, hanging out with friends and his dog, Murphy.

He now faces the biggest challenge of his young life.

He suffered permanent spinal cord injuries in a motorcycle accident this past September and is paralyzed from the neck down.

According to his Web site on www.caringbridge.org, Ian may have had a seizure prior to hitting a curb on Woodward, catapulting his body into a Christopher Reeve-like accident. When EMS arrived, Ian’s body was still convulsing.
