That was exactly what we were told during our coverage of John Edwards. I’ll repeat: if it’s true, we’ll report it. If it is not, we’ll report it. As we are a member of the Maintream press, we won’t black it out and tell you later we goofed: we’ll report on it and if what we report changes, we’ll report on that.

We assume that if people have the same info as us, they can make up their minds on the validity.

And see? You’ve already made up yours.

So that’s reassuring.
