After I read the PDF, I performed some web searching for clues as to who writes Obama’s speeches. It’s a wade through propaganda in itself - you can see the ‘narrative’ begin from the first line of the first article - the impression that his highness doesn’t NEED a speech writer because everything he touches turns to gold...but alas there’s only 48 hours in one day so he brought someone in etc.
I read up on his speech writers (3 of them - two are in their 20’s and the last is an elderly gentlemen who wrote speeches for Kennedy). And then - I read the Illinois speech he wrote BEFORE he aquired those speech writers. I skpped to the bottom of the speech and, because I went through the PDF, I recognized the pattern described by the thread author. I’ll include them below but the point I wanted to make was - Obama was already adept at hypnotic technique before he won the primary. I was wondering if he had someone brought in etc. or loaned to him. No - thus far it looks like the messiah himself is the master. Someone upthread wondered aloud if THIS is where Obama’s lost years were spent - perfeting the craft. Here are the para’s :

“In the end, that is God’s greatest gift to us, the bedrock of this nation; the belief in things not seen; the belief that there are better days ahead. I believe we can give our middle class relief and provide working families with a road to opportunity. I believe we can provide jobs to the jobless, homes to the homeless, and reclaim young people in cities across America from violence and despair. I believe that as we stand on the crossroads of history, we can make the right choices, and meet the challenges that face us. America!
Tonight, if you feel the same energy I do, the same urgency I do, the same passion I do, the same hopefulness I do — if we do what we must do, then I have no doubt that all across the country, from Florida to Oregon, from Washington to Maine, the people will rise up in November, and John Kerry will be sworn in as president, and John Edwards will be sworn in as vice president, and this country will reclaim its promise, and out of this long political darkness a brighter day will come. Thank you and God bless you.”

PS: In the post immediately above I mentioned that one of Obama’s writers originally wrote for Kennedy. That gentleman is pleased to be working with the other two speech writers and supports Obama’s candidacy. In a moment of rare candor in the interview - this elderly Kennedy era speech writer can’t understand how Obama rose so fast. He pulls save at the end but I feel he just couldn’t stop himself from wondering aloud HOW someone of Obama’s non-existant accomplishments could ‘arrive’. Here’s the quote from the article:
“Still, Riley struggles to understand how Obama has catapulted himself to the national stage.
In 2004, when Obama gave the convention speech, Riley was overseas and missed what he called the candidate’s “coming out party.”
“It’s been difficult for me to grasp how he managed to do what he has done,” said Riley. “But the power of his rhetoric has largely captured people’s attentions — that’s not an uncommon occurrence in politics, going back to the Greeks.” ‘

Whoa....My head started to spin just reading that. It is definitely meant to work as hypnosis. Obama seems to be the master. The question is who did he spend those years with? Also, you can buy courses in how to use mass hypnosis on the internet. It is possible that he taught himself but I think probably not. It has been said that Hitler taught himself from a book out of France (can't remember the name of it right now). Obama may even have been raised and groomed from his youth for politics. It is said that Communist do groom some from their childhood to fill certain roles.

Also, the older man who wrote for Kennedy isn't necessarily out of the question. I'd have to go back and view Kennedy. I remember people saying that Nixon won the debate over the radio but Kennedy beat him completely on the TV. We don't know how long some Democrats have been dallying in this stuff or to what extent. Remember how many people were so taken with Kennedy? I am not saying that I think Kennedy did thought control but it is possible that he dallied with it.

I believe Hillary Clinton uses it to some degree. See if you can find a speech by her on youtube. I have always been bothered by her speaking pattern. I think other Dems may use it to varying degrees. Some of them may just be imitating Hillary. Did Bill Clinton use it at all? People always say he was such a great speaker but I never bought it.

Republicans wouldn't even think about doing such a thing. It makes us easy to be fooled by those who will do anything for power. The thing about it is that many people would label it too kookie to consider and thereby something like mass hypnosis could flourish. I cannot understand the thinking of people who don't think a Hitler or someone like him could happen here in America. Everybody is basically decent, they think. That would be a nice world but it's not the one we are living in. If bad people can get away with something like mass hypnosis you can be sure that kind of power will corrupt them all the more.
