My take is Obama thinks this can all be fixed if he gets elected. He can have the qualifications changed by amendment. If they can pass a $700B rescue bill, they can put the seal of approval on Obama.
It would take a couple of honest constitutional lawyers, but I doubt you can change the constitution after-the-fact and apply the change to an action that happened before. Is it like habeus corpus?
