We Voted by Mail-in Ballot Today: Two for McCain!
10-10-2008 | self

Posted on 10/10/2008 7:19:41 PM PDT by CodeToad

Just thought I'd kick off the voting part of this election cycle. I wasn't going to vote for McCain (or Obama) but his selection of Sarah Palin and many of his actions on the campaign trail says he isn't perfect but he'll do. McCain loves this country. Obama is a skinny little kid who hates this country and is only running for the money and power. McCain doesn't frighten me like Obama does; not even close. Just thought I'd kick off the voting cycle.

Good job. McCain is not perfect, but he is an honorable man.

The other one? Does Obama know anyone who is NOT a terrorist or crook?

Just make sure there are no ACORN-affiliated postal workers in the processing room at USPS.

” I will wait until 11/4.”

One reason we voted early is that we’re lazy. Mail-in ballots are simple and I can take my time at home and read and answer accurately.

The second reason is more important: Pollsters like to report the early vote, which can have an affect on those voting; it can either make them go vote or stay home. I am hoping to rally people into getting out the McCain vote.

I live in a strong Republican county. I know many of the county employees involved. If any vote gets tossed out it will be a Democrats, not that they would ever stoop to such illegal tricks like a Democrat would.

Still, I wouldn’t have taken any chances. This is the USPS we’re dealing with.

We ordered three mail in ballots today. All three will be cast for McCain, one of those from a 20 year old, who has a lot of friends on campus who are also voting McCain/Palin. Not all the “yuts” are for Obama!

Ditto for me today too. My wife still has to fill out her ballot. Like you, I am voting for McCain because of Palin. Before that I was voting against Obama and McCain just happened to fit the need.

“Not all the “yuts” are for Obama!”

That’s great to hear. The only people I meet voting for Obama are seriously clueless people who run only on emotions; that, and racists who say because they are black they are voting for Obama. Of course, I respond sarcastically by saying I am white so I have to vote for McCain, and they get upset.

I will be out of the country on election day. I was able to walk in to my election office today here in Missouri and vote.

I voted democrat and here is why!

I’m voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

I’m voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

I’m voting Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq I trust that the bad guys will stop what they’re doing because they now think we’re good people.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that people who can’t tell us if it will rain on Friday CAN tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don’t start driving a Prius.

I’m voting Democrat because I’m not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe three or four pointy headed elitist liberals need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would NEVER get their agendas past the voters.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that the terrorists don’t have to hide from us over there, when they come over here I don’t want to have any guns in the house to fight them off with.

I’m voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I’ve decided to marry my horse.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe oil companies’ profits of 7 to 8¢ on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 18.4¢ isn’t.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that the best strategy in war is defeat. It broadens the mind to learn Japanese, German and Arabic. Talk about multiculturalism!

I’m voting Democrat because I’m mad that George W. Bush hasn’t caught Bin Laden. That’s because Bin Laden is the only Islamic terrorist in the world.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that if I don’t have enough money, the solution is for the government to take more of my money. Who needs money when gas is $5 per gallon?

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that the ideal family is two homosexuals, a goat and a parrot raising a human baby. Love and compassion is all it takes to make a successful family!

I’m voting Democrat because it’s my body, and if I want to kill my baby, I’ll do it, even if its head is in the birth canal. If I want to cut out my intestines and feed them to the crocodiles, I’ll do that too. That’s the freedom our forefathers enshrined in the Constitution.

I’m voting Democrat because our enemies on the battlefield deserve comfy hotel rooms, Pay-Per-View, prostitutes and all the benefits of American citizenship.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe we need other countries’ permission for me to turn down my thermostat.

I’m voting Democrat because I care about the real victims of crime — criminals.

I’m voting Democrat because the real cure for racism includes preferential policies based on race — particularly in presidential voting. If you believe that a black candidate ought to be qualified, as well as black, you’re worse than Bull Conner.

I’m voting Democrat because everyone deserves crappy healthcare. Sure, you’ll have to wait years for that life-saving cancer surgery. But it’s first come, first served at the cemetery!

I’m voting Democrat because I believe in minority rights (except in Muslim countries), free speech (with regard to pornography but not conservative talk radio), environmentalism (unless we’re talking about Al Gore’s house) and diplomacy (but never backed by the threat of military force).

I’m voting Democrat because I like the words “hope” and “change.” Also “kazoo.” That’s a funny word.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that America’s founders were rich, white, greedy xenophobes, and that America’s founding principles are hogwash requiring periodic editing from an unelected group of liberal judges.

I’m voting Democrat because women in politics should be mono-toned, bitchy, and ugly. We could never benefit from a woman who is smart and pretty.

Most of all, I’m voting Democrat because I like the ideas they have over in France, but I don’t feel like moving there. I’ll threaten to move, but I really won’t. After all, I have a good job, healthcare, lower taxes, free speech and a social framework that promotes family structure. And all of it is defended by the most effective fighting force on the planet.

Ok so I made that “I’m voting ...” stuff up. I did go into my election office and vote though. I voted for McCain! Hopefully this bellwether state will decide Marxism is not the answer.

I always early vote but I'm thinking of voting 11/4. Not sure.

Assuming ACORN is going to screw up the vote...which method would increase my chances of getting a vote that counts. SAd, huh?
