“She’s not afraid.” Exactly.
I have a little collection of Sarah Palin’s quotes in my head. One has to do with her jogging up a mountain behind the Alaskan capital in Juneau. She says she goes all out up that mountain to see how much her body can take.
Another which I think is very deep is about her special needs child. “Who can say what is normal in this world?”
This is a woman who looks reality in the face and is not afraid.
Let’s be honest. I really hope Gov. Palin wins and starts to kick butt. But she will need a sort of Presidential Praetorian Guard to help her do it. And in reality, a dirty-secrets squad. We are talking about D.C. here. Pelosi, Obama, Chicago Machine, et al don’t even have a concept of playing fair or taking orders. I’m not talking about just the top dogs, I mean the rank and file of the D.C. bureaucracy; who are beholden to Dems for their cushy lifestyles. They don’t want anything to change and will lie, cheat, steal, falsify data, lose memos, and heavens knows what else to keep it that way. Those people need to be kicked out, and one will have to get pretty dirty to do it. General Palin will need people willing to fight this war for her.
Yes!
"And the important point confirmed by Thursday night's debate is very simply this: Sarah Palin is nothing less than the instrument through which ordinary, non-mystical Americans may reclaim their national government."
Another definition of 'breath of fresh air'. :)
"millions of voters including undecideds and independents and swing voters, disappointed Hillary voters, disappointed movement conservatives, even non-voters who watched this debate are saying to themselves: "Well! Now that was different!"
But But But...she hasn't spent decades learning the ropes in Washington DC?!?! Senators 0bama, Biden and McCain have soo muccchh exxpperiieencccccee... could our beloved country survive fresh air in DC??? We're so accustomed/numbed to stuffed pantsuits!
"and she's the one of us who stepped forward to prove that she has the heart of a genuine servant of the public."
What a concept, right?
Ok..I'll finish reading the article and won't comment on every single paragraph! It just says what I've been trying to say for a while now!
