In short, Sarah Palin doesn't have a chance on Thursday nigh except with her supporters and some open-minded independents.

Forget the spin. The bottomline is what is the gut feeling of those that see the debate themselves live and some that watch a recorded version in it's entirety. It's called going over the head of the media. True independents are the target and many know dishonest spin when they see it.

I agree that spin is the issue. Half+ of America said that Obama won the Friday debate. He didn’t.

But, that’s what was reported.

1st they spin on their newscasts that X is the case.

2nd they poll to see what is the case and X is one of the responses.

3rd, they report on their newscast that their poll says X is the case.
