"We have the natural resources to develop our way out of this current crisis, with time, if the democrat controlled government would stop blocking the free development thereof. But the subunits of the socialist democrat cabal have the congressional power to block use of our natural resources because the democrats see that blockage as a means to bring the nation to its collective knees."

Accurate and concise.

Thanks for your excellent, thoughtful reply. While you disagree with the way I posed the problem, I do not disagree with your response. We do have the resources as a nationalistic nation-state to dig our way out without printing so much money or dumping it on the taxpayers. However, both parties have aimed us at other than nationalistic priortie to date. It seems only a minority of Republicans are in tune with the general public. No effective energy policy for decades...the public has noticed, and is demanding an appropriate response. The bailout will define where both parties are when all the terms are known and dissected. The credit derivative unwind is underway and cannot be stopped by anything the US does. The US publilc sees that the US, if its arms are untied, can produce the energy required to dig out. Advocates of energy reduction programs (eg cut energy use by 15% to ‘conserve’, cut out air-conditioning, etc.) only doom us to perpetual recession. IT TAKES ENERGY above all else to work out of recession for starters. There are no plans visible to deal with any of this. Anyway, your response was a good read.

This should be getting many more pings, reads, and comments. It seems that even many FReepers are ready to be caught off guard.

Barack Obama and the Strategy of Manufactured Crisis

"Conspicuous in their absence are any connections at all with any other group, moderate, or even mildly leftist. They are all radicals, firmly bedded in the anti-American, communist, socialist, radical leftist mesh."

Whether by Fabianist incrementalism, or by catastrophe and revolution, the Socialists win by their strategy -- unless we expose them. Please email, talk, phone, tell....

As a young attorney in the 1990s, Barack Obama represented ACORN in Washington in their successful efforts to expand Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) authority. In addition to making it easier for ACORN groups to force banks into making risky loans, this also paved the way for banks like Superior to package mortgages as investments, and for the Government Sponsored Enterprises Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to underwrite them. These changes created the conditions that ultimately lead to the current financial crisis.

I had suspected that he played a part but I never realized that he was a guiding force in this mess.

Now, coupled with the fact that Democrats have blocked drilling for oil off the coast and in the ANWR, they have assured another major artificially created crisis will influence votes and prevent the means to rebound from the financial crisis.

I have never prescribed to conspiracy theory yet still always suspected that, with the Watergate break-in, Nixon was duped into believing he would find evidence of a DNC link to International Communism. With this article I see that the link clearly exists.

It was posted in the blogs forum. I think that I'll repost it in the News/Activism forum with all its links, tomorrow. Different eyes read on weekdays vs. weekends, anyway.

Saul Alinsky in his book, Rules for Radicals lays out a guerrilla against these institutions which frustrate socialism. Barak Obama was an acolyte of -indeed he was an instructor for- Saul Alinsky's operation.

We have no Republican or conservative spokesman who is capable of explaining this situation to the general public in a way that cannot be caricatured as a return to McCarthyism or somesuch nonsense, because we have at least two generations of voters who have no grasp of historical precedent.

We are heading into a very dark night.

George W. Bush is shaping up as the worst president in American history, just as his critics have long claimed.

A war we didn’t need; big spending big gov’t; statements like “when someone is hurting, it’s the gov’t’s job to be there”; and now a push to provide a socialist bailout at the heart of capitalism.

I have no doubt George W. Bush has no idea what the historical or philosophical or economic implications of his actions are. He’s been working over his head for eight years, and the country, and his party, have paid a huge price for it.
