Why am I seeing that people get refunds when they have no tax liability? What has happened to this country? This pisses me off to no end.

It’s bad enough that 40% or whatever it is pay no federal income tax. But now some who don’t get money back? Ugh.

I suggest you NEVER go into a commercial tax preparation office.

Especially during January to about middle of February.

my ex sister in law had 2 kids by 2 different dads, worked a job that paid in cash, and paid no taxes. Yet every year she would end up getting $3,000-$3,500 back in tax refunds. WTF????

yeah, its enough to make your blood boil....
