Don’t they take an oath to “uphold and defend the Constitution?” I believe that a clear violation of the 1st amendment violates that oath.
A few someones need to resign over this, or be forced out. A firing offense, this. Law enforcement is to remain neutral, at least in public. They have publicly declared a preference for a particular campaign and threatened to use their official powers to advance that preference.
