In his interview with Katie Couric, Joe Biden said:
“When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television and didn’t just talk about the princes of greed. He said, ‘look, here’s what happened.’”
Two problems here: Television did not exist in 1929, and FDR was elected in 1932. When Joe was in history class, was he cheating by looking over the class dunce’s shoulder, or does he just make this stuff up?

It won’t happen for one reason. Early voting has started already in some states.
Another reason to choose October 5 is McCain-Feingold. After that date, no independent ads. Republicans will not be able to respond with enough advertising regarding Hillary. (poetic justice)
Maybe Hilliary has a file on Biden or made “big” promises to him if he “helps” Nobama lose. :)

That’s entirely possible but it still doesn’t explain a supposedly intentional effort on his part to appear either mentally incompetent or divisive to the head of the ticket when, as I indicated earlier, all it would take is a doctor’s note that the next two months months he needs to avoid stress or something. It isn’t the desire to get him off the ticket, it’s the method to the madness I question.
More likely Joe suffers an accident while cleaning his puclically announced Beretta.
Discussion of the possibilites does not correlate to the stampede effect such a radical change would cause. A certain percentage of women are voting for McCain Palin because of Palin's presence on the ticket. A portion of them are disenchanted hildabeast supporters. If the change could cause 2% of the voters to reconsider, that would be a total 4% shift in the election numbers. That would have a significant impact on the outcome where the polls show a statistical tie.
Yep, you nailed the strategy right on the head. I think that’s been obvious since Hillary lost the nomination.

Hillary wants to be Supreme Emperor. She is willing to settle for being President (at least for now). She will never settle for being Vice President.
Bill and Hillary are working behind the scenes to make sure that Obama goes down in flames, while preserving their ability to claim to have supported him like loyal Democrats. That way Hillary can get the Democrat nomination in 2012, running on the "I warned you not to pick that loser" platform.

It is starting to add up with the AP coming out with the story today, “Poll: Obama struggling to win over Clinton voters.” The Chicago Times talking about dwindling crowds...
I thought there would be no way but maybe Obama is getting so desperate he has offered to payoff all of Clintons campaign debt if she does it.
If it does happen Obama knows he has lost the election against McCain/Palin and trying to give toss the “Hail Mary” down the field. It will not work. Obama will look indecisive and inept. Something Freepers already know.
That would be interesting to see how they could get another VP on the ticket seeing that many states have already gone past the point that they can legally make a change.
The 26th will be the beasts birthday.
