Terrific video of Gravel speaking on Palin. I disagree with Gravel most of the time, but he's spot on here.
Oh, and Dems, don't call him a DINO either. He's for universal health care, guest worker programs, taxing carbon energy, and getting out of Iraq.

That was a great smackdown of the radio hosts who were trying to push him in a direction to criticize Palin and were unpleasantly surprised. LOL.
Priceless. Thanks for posting this. You made my day.
The female interviewer stated that Sarah has “extreme views” on abortion. How about the extreme views of Obama, that it’s acceptable to kill a full term baby as long as the baby is still in the womb. People are unbelievable.
Exactly.
Gravel is a bit of a wing-nut, but he doesn’t put up with the subterfuge of these interviewers and actually gets irritated by their obvious non-objectiveness. He wanted to talk facts and issues, the interviewers want to talk trash. The questioners unpunctiliously ended the interview post haste. It’s worth a look and listen.
That’s what we’re up against. Of course, I appreciate Gravel having enough balance to defend McCain’s choice for VP and Gov. Palin’s qualities. He leaps over the cliff with the “American Imperialism” remark, that’s pretty tiresome, insulting really. Gravel doesn’t have much of a firm grip on reality in that regard.
And yes, Democrats aside, we would be in Iraq. Iraq, tactically speaking (seems like most don’t get this) is perfect for all the ME fronts, ground zero. I believe that was a brilliant move by Pres. Bush’s team. War is always a gamble, remember the old Army adage: After the first shot is fired, all plans are out the window. How true that is. From that point on it’s thrust and parry.
I love the way old people speak their mind. They have not been corrupted by the PC crap. Liberal interviewers are just not used to someone standing up to them. They so think that conservatism is an out of the mainstream ideology, that they don’t even think that someone might disagree with them!
I really enjoyed that ... how frustrated the woman interviewer got ... she just couldn’t shake Gravel and couldn’t get rid of him.
I wish more politicians would be that firm with the press.
I’d bet South Asian - Indian or Paki or Banglideshi
She sounded Indian to me.
She sounds Canadian to me.
They can call that an interview but they were making it a debate.
How can opting to give someone life be an extreme position on abortion?
You are too kind. Obama voted to deny medical care to a baby who survives an abortion.
Were can I hear this interview ?
