Shocking Poll: Jews Defecting to McCain in Droves
A shocking new poll shows that Jewish voters in New York prefer McCain over Obama by a margin of 54-32 percent. That is even more remarkable because the last poll showed that New York Jews preferred Obama over McCain by a margin of 55-42 percent. That is a 35-point reversal!

It puts New York into play. If the NYC Jewish vote goes McCain/Palin, that will enable the conservative rural vote to carry the state. If McCain/Palin get New York, it is Game Over for The Obamanation.
New York, New Jersey, Florida, Penn and Ohio all have significant Jewish populations.

55-42 is interesting. The Evangelical vote is normally a very wide margin. What issue separates the Jewish vote?
It is a cultural thing, handed down from generation to generation. They see conservative Christians as Nazi symps (goes back to WWII). Some older Jews seriously believe the conservative Christians want to put them into concentration camps. A not insignificant number believed that GW would do exactly that in 2000. Seriously. It dates back to some serious anti-Sematism back in the day. Modern reality, though, is trumping this perception (now a complete misperception - Jews and Israel have no better friend than true Christians and no worse enemies than islam-enabling leftscum). The irony is that traditional Jewish respect for family and tradition - in other words conservatism - has made this a long time in coming.

Jews usually vote Democratic because of social issues, but when the Democratic candidate is pro-Palestinian and seems to be surrounded with anti-Semites, it may change things. Let’s hope so.

My family has been Christian for as far as I’ve been told yet does have a Jewish Dutch Grandma in the picture. Hitler partnered with the Persians and Arabs. It still goes on.

Maybe the Obamanation just needs to ask Farrakhan and Sharpton and Jesse Jackson to “reach out” and build ties to the Jewish electorate...... they could throw in some of Obama’s pro-terrorist pals for a little extra warm outreach.
I took a little tour around a few Jewish newspapers.
Two points.
1)Israel is having it’s own elections now, and they are all jumpy about Iran blowing them up.
2)Jimmy Carter and the Dem convention. He’s not the jews best friend.
What a Happy New Year present for McCain-Palin.
I’ve always felt it was because so many Jews are Russian in origin. Vis a vis Fiddler on the Roof, they didn’t get on too well with the Czar.
A lot of them threw in with communism and socialism at that time. They came over here to NYC and got active in unions, especially the teachers unions which was for all practical purposes a communist front.
I read David Horowitz’s book Radical Son. They were invested in communism and Stalin the way a Christian is invested in Jesus. One part I remember was when he talks about his parents organizing a strike against the landlords in Sunnyside.
They didn’t want to OWN the apartments, they wanted to live in them free.
To this day they tend toward radical causes. Remember, the old testament has an emphasis on following rules. It was Jesus who put the stress on the individual, and conscience as a governor.
