From what I’ve read,
the dispute on Papua is more ethnic/racial,
than fueled by religion.
But Ex can maybe explain that in his future communiques as he builds up to an “Oh My!” moment, or “What’s the big deal?”
In any event, interesting.
Also, Barack has no religion, he’s rich now, he doesn’t need to “cling” any more, using his own logic. I think he has been rude to Mr. Soetero’s memory, the man who loved him and adopted him.
No free buttons, nada. There has been a change. I remember pols handing out buttons and stickers like candy.
He's gone to a lot of effort and expense to protect his Indonesian records....it must be much more than what we already know.
I remember when local parties and volunteers actually organized events for locals.
Now everything seems to be organized by paid professionals from DC with little grass-roots type involvement.
Instead of collecting donations to pay for things like (free) yard signs and (free) buttons, all the money goes to paid campaign folks.
That’s my impression, anyway.
It is ethical and racial AND fueled by religion.
Barack Obama served on the board of the Joyce Foundation from 1994 through 2002
I’ve heard campaign “experts” assert that bumperstickers are useless for advertising a candidate. The contention is that their primary value is as a reward to motivate the volunteer who recieves one.
Since the party these days is not interested in people’s nonfinancial participation (if not openly hostile to it) it makes sense that there will be fewer bumperstickers around.
Interesting. Thanks.
bookmarking, thanks, expatguy!
Obama makes my head spin.
Could you put me on your ping list? Many thanks.
You really write well, by the way. Clear and concise.
"The third Millennium Initiatives grant, a one-year award of $347,000, will go to the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University to help fund the design of the first U.S. market for the trading of carbon emissions. Carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases are believed to be causing climate changes such as global warming that threaten the stability of the earth's environment. So I looked up Paula,"Climate change is a product of the Industrial Age, but society continues to irresponsibly place the resolution of the problem at the feet of the next generation," said Joyce president Paula DiPerna. "This project puts some of the responsibility back where it belongs on those of us who are reaping the benefits of the earlier Industrial Age."
Proposals for Joyce Millennium Initiatives are at the invitation of foundation staff. [No conflict there, no sirree!]
PDF Document dated April 5, 2005, stating DiPerna joins the CCX as an executive vice president

But there were two schools: one public, and one Catholic, run by Franciscans. Have they both been bought off?
News Update:
RUSH IS DISCUSSING THE Mysterious BIRTH CERTIFICATE issue right now.
Kenya, Berg, granny, dual-citizenship, etc. all mentioned.
Cats out of the bag.........
There is much about Obama that my fellow Americans don’t know and time is running short.
