Anyone else noticing an abnormally high number of double-posts lately, or is it just me? I think it might be because of the lag between clicking the Post button and the time it takes the server to respond, leaving the person doing the post to click the Post button a second time, thinking the lack of response was because the first click didn't register. Comments?

Double posts often happen when you have a worn out clicker in your mouse. I think a software modification at freerepublic can correct for that.

I noticed FR seems to run slow from time to time. My double was inadvertent when I got a “not available” page.

IF YOU CLICK POST, ALWAYS ASSUME THAT IT HAS GONE THROUGH, EVEN THOUGH YOU GET AN ERROR MESSAGE.
