Gibson came across like D.A. Trotter in “My Cousin Vinny,” when Lisa was on the stand. “I’d like to voir dire this witness as to the extent of her expertise.” The difference is Palin is way too classy to tell Charlie it was a “bulls—t question” the way Lisa told off Trotter about his little quiz.

Some idiot on ABC described it as “deer in a headlight” reaction to the question. She has the intelligence to ask “in what respect?” and instead of being candid he plays his little teen “gotcha” game. A number of commentators were not impressed so I think he came off as a snotty pompous brat.

Everybody focused in advance on how Palin was going to handle this interview, but many of us now are looking to see if the MSM, ignorant of Palin's appeal to regular voters, continues to damage themselves with each passing interview. They are as much on the hotseat as she.

Hey Bill, please, I ask you; just what revelations about Sarah would cause you and I to question our faith in her and denounce her as “just another self serving politician?”

Of course it would be easy to rattle off a whole list of obscene possibilities based on just how base a person’s heart has descended, but heck y’all she is golden.

I’m a little embarrassed to admit that their tremendous attempts to discredit Sarah has become a source of family entertainment that even my small one has developed the ability to discern honest questions.

I can only hope that Bill O’reilly is the next Sarah interviewer ; a 6 star youtube comedy.

I can’t resist: Bill just wants to be loved!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tJjNVVwRCY

Just sayin

One final thought on this before I let it go. It occurred to me yesterday, as I sat on my mower yesterday going in circles, that Gov. Palin “played” Charles Gibson and beat him at his own game. Notice that she kept referring to him as “Charlie”. Pretty much no one calls him “Charlie” and he introduces himself publicly as “Charles”.

People introduce themselves with the name they like others to call them by. President Kennedy’s given name was “John”, but he often went by “Jack”. Using a more casual reference for someone, like “Charlie” or “Jack”, suggests a closer, more intimate relationship exists between those individuals.

But, Charles is part of the “holier-than-thou”, better-than-you, elist media. He is NOT Gov. Palin’s friend and he made it clear that he was out to ask her questions intended to prove she is not ready to lead. Contrast that with the kid glove treatment he gave the Obamessiah. But, I digress.

By repeatedly addressing him as “Charlie”, Gov. Palin played Gibson like a violin and gave the impression that, off camera, they had a warm, friendly relationship. That’s NOT the kind of relationship Gibson wanted his fellow travelers in the elist media to think he had with the governor. His reaction to her implying a friendly relationship shows up in his condescending attitude towards her and in his sharp response “Exact words” when he quoted something that she (and later research verified) didn’t believe that she said. IOW, he took some edited words out of context and claimed that those were her “exact words”.

Nonetheless, she replied exceptionally well and hit another one out of the park. It was Gibson who, in the end, let Gov. Palin rattle HIM, versus the other way around as the eltist media is trying to portray. Gibson came in with HIS script and plan of how he was going to take Gov. Palin down, but she didn’t follow the script and, the more Gibson saw that she was besting him, the more rattled he got.

In the psychological battle we saw in that interview, Gibson lost . . . . . . . . . BIG time!!
