They need to stay on the economic message of drill, drill, drill!

One can only hope the McCain/Palin people catch onto this idea. . . it would be a VERY powerful visual.

George Washington actually had the first prototype of the iPhone and was quite fond of Debian Linux.

My daughter thinks the attack on McCain’s computer skills will tee off young people and older voters.

Think about it, how many young people happily spend time helping their parents and grandparents get acclimated to new technology? My daughter didn’t appreciate his looking down on anyone who isn’t tech-savy. And she LOVED helping her grandparents (before their death), aunts and uncles get used to email so they could correspond while she’s at school.

But Obama wouldn’t understand how close-knit families will view it. No one likes their grandpa being mocked.

That would make a great inside-out response ad (although you cannot let your opposition call the tune all the time). Show grandchildren helping out their grandparents with technology and getting hugs and kisses in return. The last shot should be of grandpa taking little Jane or Johnny on his knee saying the line “Let me tell you about a thing called carbon paper ...” The voice over then goes “We want better for our children and grandchildren ...” better schools, educational opportunities, vouchers to escape failing schools, technology for the future, yada yada yada.

Now that would be a great ad!

Knowing the difficulties that keep Senator McCain from using a keyboard, another ad could show young people typing emails dictated by grandparents since they can’t do it themselves.

The speaker can say,’While they aren’t able to send the messages themselves, they’re not forgotten. Love always finds a way to get its message out.’

It could also spark a true grassroot effort of people volunteering at a nursing home or visiting seniors or the disabled in their communities. Sparking family members to be a bit more active in keeping older relatives involved in the family.

Using their laptops (or laptops donated via local charities) to make sure they can communicate with their loved ones far away. NOW THAT WOULD TRUMP OBAMA’S FAKE CALLS FOR GOVERNMENT-RUN NATIONAL SERVICE.

I have the memories of what scleroderma did to my mother. Watching her die slowly and lose the ability to hold anything is something no one should endure.

For Obama to mock people who are older and don’t do things that way he does, angers me to my core. His type will never understand everyday people or the struggles and blessings that make up our lives.

*Knowing Obama’s penchant for stealing the ideas of others, let’s mark our ideas before he co-opts them. Not that it would work. He needs a servant’s heart and true compassion to understand what we’re talking about.*

I liked it.

Anyway, we all have short attention spans. It’ll be old news in a day or two.

It doesn’t sing to me, but then I’m not in the target demographic. The McCain/Palin campaign is relentlessly wooing moderate women, and so far it’s paying off in spades.
