Actually, this is exactly what liberals say, with no disguise.
I participate in another politics board that has a large contingent of the most obnoxious, arrogant, self-obsessed liberal elites you could ever imagine. If you don't support Obama, they flat-out call you stupid in the most dismissive, insulting ways.
It's also how they counter any debate on issues or policy. If you don't agree with them, if you put up a counter-argument and back it up, they just call you stupid.
As has been widely observed, liberals operate on emotion, not logic. This is obvious in their emotional outbursts and fallback to juvenile ad hominem attacks when pressed.

Since it’s the Chicago Obama Headquarters, I assume that what they’re saying is that they CANNOT believe that Chicago Machine Politics can’t reach out of State and stop Palin. I can see this happening if Obama is not bright. There are those who think Hilliary wouldn't accept; I disagree. She wants power, and will do anything to obtain and protect that power. People say that she won't accept the VP slot because if they win, Obama will still be president in 2012. BS! If they win, Hillary will be president by next Spring!
