Remember the TORCH!
No candidate is irreplaceable, at any time during the election cycle. But if they did this, then the democrat convention, nomination rocess, all the delegate votes etc- is shown to be nothing more than a political “mulligan”.

IMHO, we need to replace ourselves w/ in the PUMAS for if/when Obama replaces Biden with Hilldog and make sure the common message is - “what an insult, he is using her”..

Biden is going to continue to be the VP nominee. End of story.

I was afraid this would happen.

Hopefully “Her Heinous” will not want to tie her fortunes to this loser(Obama) and hopes he loses so she can run again in 4 years.

Her not being on the ticked gives McCain/Palin a better shot this election cycle.

I fully expect a Lautenberg style switch if the poll numbers continue to lag for the Dem ticket. Remember this is their religion. To win power at ALL cost. I just hope the american public are smart enough to recognize that Obama is a zero with no experience who’s strings are being pulled like a puppet by the DNC.

Biden can't be replaced in Texas:

§ 192.062. PRESIDENTIAL OR VICE-PRESIDENTIAL PARTY NOMINEE. (a) The secretary of state shall certify in writing for placement on the ballot the name of a political party's replacement nominee for president or vice-president of the United States if:
(1) the original nominee withdraws, dies, or is declared ineligible on or before the 74th day before presidential election day; and
(2) the party's state chair delivers certification of the replacement nominee's name, signed by the state chair, to the secretary of state not later than 5 p.m. of the 70th day before presidential election day.

(b) If the state chair's certification of a replacement nominee is delivered by mail, it is considered to be delivered at the time of its receipt by the secretary of state.
(c) The name of a nominee who has withdrawn, died, or been declared ineligible shall be omitted from the ballot and the name of the replacement nominee placed on the ballot if a replacement nominee is certified for placement on the ballot as provided by this section. Otherwise, the withdrawn, deceased, or ineligible nominee's name shall be placed on the ballot.
(d) A vote for a withdrawn, deceased, or ineligible nominee whose name appears on the ballot shall be counted as a vote for the nominating political party's presidential elector candidates.

Of course even though Biden's name will be on the ballot, the electors may elect whomever they choose.

Obama could have Elvis as his running mate and he would still lose.

No levelheaded American is gonna go into the booth and vote for an anti-American Racist Socialist.

Heck, even the Clintons & Clintonistas aren’t gonna vote for this clown...it ruins Clinton’s plans to run in 2012 if Obama is elected POTUS.

Obama is D.O.A. on 11/4

He can then go back to Chi-town and unload his barrel of BS on the folks back there. Because his “15 mins” will be up.

I have a serious question. If Obama wanted to replace Biden, could he? Biden was nominated by their convention. I know that he can be convinced to drop out...hell he’s starting to sound like he wants to. But how do you nominate a new running mate at this stage of the game?

Not going to happen. It would only make Obama appear weaker and more indecisive that he is.

And don’t forget Michelle’s opposition to Hillary

Why would Hillary step in, in all honesty?

If they could pull off a win (doubtful since Obama will still be at the top of the ticket) she will have no power, have to wait 8 years for her turn or commit Arkanside that would go over well with the country.

If she is on the ticket and Obama loses (most likely) then her power in the party is toast.

If he loses without her on the ticket she is the power for the next 4 years and front-runner next time.

Nobody is so stupid as to jump on board this sinking ship. Biden will stay, and blow pretty bubbles as the ship goes down.

Never gonna happen.

Obama does not like women. He cannot have one as a running mate.

Why do you think he is so upset about Palin?

Please do not go anywhere Joe. Stay the candidate. We cannot have Hillary come in and mess up progress. Obama/Hillary is a winner for Democrats...we cannot afford this at this time.

I seriously doubt this would happen. However, it wouldn’t suprise me if the McCain campaign already had Rudy’s “get that VP thing in writing” comments already in an ad ready to go.

As unhappy as some Dems are, as unhappy as Lady Voldemort might be, as unhappy as Barry might be, and as unhappy as Joe himself might be...I don’t know how they make the switch at this point without it looking like the messy, desperate move it would be. Barry’s treed. He already picked Joe, saying he was the best choice and all that. The guy has to know from his Senate run what kind of trouble late changes in the ticket can wreak on a campaign. It’s a big part of why he’s a senator now in the first place. Joe would almost have to die or go Tim Johnson at this point to justify it, and even then...No, they’re screwed.
