I think there were a lot of them later on in the convention (specifically at Bam-Bam's speech).
I remember someone here posting about not seeing American flags in the audience at the recent convention. They have been found:http://radarsite.blogspot.com/2008/08/after-hoopla-contempt-of-country.html There's a lot I could say, but I think the pictures tell it all.?????There were flags and flag pins and patriotic riffs and tributes to the troops throughout the convention.I guess you weren't watching.
Did either of you even bother to click on the link?
Almost any town of any decent size has an American Legion that will gladly take American flags and dispose of them with respect. But then again, how would many of those in attendance even know what the American Legion is?
I just KNEW that when I went to your link I would see them being stepped on or thrown away. All pomp & no actual pride in ones nation. SAD!
You are just giving ammunition to the libs to go take similar pictures at the Republican convention.
Extremist sites like that have no credibility. The pictures are obviously staged for shock and outrage value, and there is no way of knowing how the flags got in the bags.Or even where or when the pictures were shot. Good Lord....really?
Mine would be in my "memorabilia" box at home, or displayed. I was one who started a link on Wednesday nite about it. Next nite - flags all over the place. Guess his aides were busy scouring the forum for what to do and not do. Probably went something like this:"Holy crap - how come nobody thought to order flags???" Then went out and raided the Walmarts for them. These people sure spout a good patriotic stance, but have no clue how to pull if off until someone tells them how.

YOU are not the one to determine what is and what isn't a "credible site". The way you stick up for and defend everything CBS does, what Dan Rather did, you have no room to talk about what is and what isn't credible.

I am a Liberal, and an Educated Voter
Amazing...Amazing that the janitors threw out all the stuff on the floor? Do you really think this is a story to get excited about? You do realize the people employed to clean up the arena most likely aren't even associated with the DNC, or even necessarily liberal for that matter. They're probably the same people that clean up the arena after any sporting event or concert, and run the entire spectrum of political philosophy. They're just trying to do their job.
Janitors clean up convention center and/or stadium after convention ends! Film at eleven!

Click the link before you come up with a liberal response. Please see post #8.I'd advise that you pay attention before you post. There was nothing "liberal" about my response.

A note from Radarsite: "Extremist sites like that have no credibility" Radarsite is honored -- actually I should say, somewhat honored to be the object of a heated and quite typical debate on the Hannity Show site. We are only 'somewhat honored' because, as we had discovered on an earlier visit, this unquestioned bastion of Conservatism is actually infested with a surprising number of nasty libs. It appears that the same battle lines have been drawn in this debate here as elsewhere: the conservatives are angry and outraged, and the libs are crying foul. The contortions which the embarrassed leftists are going through to attempt to discredit this story are almost comical: Radarsite is an "extremist site", and the pictures were staged.
The only shock and outrage the left will suffer is that these flags were not in a recycling bin.
