As a conservative and a patriot my message for liberals is simple – we get it. You hate us, and some of you hate America. When Lyndon Johnson ran the “Daisy” ad suggesting a vote for Goldwater was a vote for a nuclear war, we didn’t get it. When you usurped the foreign affairs’ powers of the president with the Boland Amendment, we didn’t get it. When you smeared Col. Ollie North and tried to convict him of a crime, we didn’t get it. When you hunted through Judge Bork’s garbage and tried to smear him using receipts of his videotape rentals we didn’t get it. When you attempted to destroy Secretary Weinberger (you had already destroyed Senator Tower and Secretary Donovan), we didn’t get it.

Well, I haven’t figured it out, even with your clue. What is the “s” word, anyway?

Here's another clue, if done, it could solve all problems in at least HALF the country. However, it is so radical a concept - the pros and cons can never be discussed, in public. No the "S" word must never be spoken. It is the nuclear weapon of political lexicon.

Exactly - we need to fight the liberals, America was about to walk away from the republican party because the party was walking away from the common man. It was very close to becoming the party of the republican establishment, the elitist, the country club replubicans, the RINOS.

That is till this week with Sarah Palin...she has a alot of expectation riding on her, I hope she can withstand the scrutiny and lies of the press, and continue to push for American (conservative) family values. We need to fight, no more RINOs (ie. Grahamnesty) and take this party back, with our without McCain.

I’m in agreement here. We need to fight, hard as nails. But let’s make it clean, unlike our filthy opponents that have hundreds of rats and lice on the ground in Alaska going through trash bins. Our motto should be “non est iocus esse malignum” (there is no fun where there is spite - Horace). Or as Dr. Johnson put it, “The cup of life is bitter enough without squeezing in the hateful rind of resentment.” Don’t get me wrong, they should go after them tooth and nail, but with a smile and a sense of humor. They’ll hate us all the more, just like they hated Reagan. McCain - Palin, ‘08!
