I've always considered McCain to be a lackluster speaker. Today he was not. Yes, as mentioned above, he threw out the clunker about the Olympic winner son of illegal immigrants, but he also had this great line.
By the way, my friends, we now have a pro-American president of France which shows if you live long enough anything can happen.
I encourage you to listen to it. He was on fire today. I hope he keeps it up.

He’s doing a good job. He’s not a great orator, but his heart comes through. What a contrast to the arrogant poser on the other side. And do those crowds love Sarah. Very encouraging. God bless America.
