Here is a local news report on the rally held by John McCain and Sarah Palin in Cedarburg, Wisconsin today, September 5, 2008. The reporter says State Troopers estimate that a crowd of 20,000-30,0000 turned out to greet them, far more than the expected 5-10,000. . . . (see video at link)

Outstanding! And for those who think it’s too late to donate to McCain/Palin, that’s not accurate. You can still go to their site and donate. The money is simply re-routed to another pot (Victory 2008), where at least some of it will still be used to aid their election in November.

Awesome!
I wonder what kind of crowd they could draw if they gave a speech in a stadium with a bunch of Hollywood-schlocky Greek-style columns surrounding them?
Oh, wait...I think only desperate people do things like that.

Thirty thousand people and they didn’t need a free concert by Rage Against The Machine to do it?!

Oh, he’s taken some serious hits, but he’s not sunk yet. It’s gonna be a long two months.

About that glitzy production, one has to remember this; the cheaper the merchandise, the higher the gloss.

What kind of crowd did Joe get today?
To: blogsforthompson.com
I don’t think you would have seen more than 300 people show up to a McCain rally BP (Before Palin).

This reminds me of how the Bismark was sunk. It took a rudder shot first, then got clobbered. I think Sarah was a rudder shot to the Dems. They are now spinning around in circles.

Palin is the new rockstar. McCain will have to recycle that old joke that JFK told about Jackie on their trip to Paris. For McCain it would be “I’m the man who accompanied Sarah Palin to St. Paul”.
To: BRL
Not only is she the torpedo plane that took out the rudder, she is also one the battleships which will pulverize them to sinking wreckage.
