Bump for later. I couldn’t get the video to pull up on the convention site a few minutes ago - it showed me Lieberman (who actually wasn’t bad) no matter where I clicked.

Fred’s speech was truly inspiring for me. It really reinforced the difference in character and experience between the two candidates. He put all of us in the cell with McCain and helped us understand what kind of decisions McCain makes under pressure. I don’t agree with McCain on everything, but I will never question his intentions or his honor. With the promise of Palin to lead us in the future, I will vote the ticket.

No way, no how, nobama..

Fred was this way because he more intensely believes in McCain in the Oval Office than he believes in himself in the Oval Office.

I wonder when he came to this searing realization.

Now why the hello couldn’t Fred show that kind of energy when he was running for president back during the primaries?

YA-BA-DA-BA-DO! THIS SPEECH ROCKED.

And I can say without fear of contradiction that she [Governor Sarah Palin] is the only nominee in the history of either party who knows how to properly field dress a moose … with the possible exception of Teddy Roosevelt.

She and John McCain are not going to care how much the alligators get irritated when they get to Washington, they’re going to drain that swamp.

FWIW, the McCain camp has hired Tucker Eskew, Warren Tompkins and Neal Rhodes, the high-powered team to help "handle" the campaign. Stay tuned for some very powerful media coming from Palin/McCain. These guys know what they are doing. I noticed their names in several news articles already this morning. Be sure they had a hand in Thompson's speech and are working with Palin as we speak.

And you better believe the opposition is scared silly. Yeehah!
