Here's a word the Blind Pig needs to add to his vocabulary: DUH.
Liberals really do think far too much of themselves.
Sullivan is only the one gazillionth idiot who thinks a gun-toting, pro-life, limited government conservative, former beauty queen was a sop to Hillary voters. Andy, since you don't swing this way, let me make it plain: Palin is an appeal to white male voters and conservative females (and a far more suitable choice to do that than some has-been from Delaware.) No pandering to anything but the base was intended in this choice, except possibly for the few Reagan Democrats who still haven't come over from the Dark Side. As for religion, it didn't come into play: I don't know Sarah Palin's religion, and as an agnostic myself, I couldn't possibly care less. I'm trying to find where in her acceptance speech God was even mentioned; maybe you could point me to the screaming demagoguery for Jeebus you seem to find hiding behind every Republican in her introduction to America.
Or maybe you can't, because it wasn't there.
You haven't been right about anything for a few days shy of seven years. Get over yourself: nobody thinks for one minute the Hillary pro-aborts are coming over for McCain. If Sarah Palin's simple, self-consistent life choices are a stinging repudiation of your own immorality, that's a problem for you. While you still have some time left, learn the meaning of charity, especially toward your moral betters.
"Down Syndrome Baby."
Jerk.
Sullivan, go back to doing what you do best: trolling your “power glutes” on the Internet.
He had a couple of way over-the-top posts on Saturday. Sheer speculation on my part here, but I'm wondering if The Atlantic is trying to reign him in...
