The first political convention I ever attended was when my mom was pregnant with me in 1984 and the Republican Party nominated Ronald Reagan for a second term as President. I have been on political stages and in campaigns since before I could walk or talk. If there is one thing I have learned, it is that it is difficult to establish your identity and independence as the son or daughter of a politician. When I was 14 years old, a reporter questioned my father about me having a hypothetical abortion, had I been pregnant at 14. This reporter's question single-handedly changed my life. This story comes up in almost every profile written about me and in almost every interview. It's a rough go being the son or daughter of a politician. I have not known Bristol Palin very long, but there is a certain kinship I feel to her as I do other political daughters such as Chelsea Clinton, Jenna and Barbara Bush and Mary Cheney. You can't fully understand it unless you have lived it. So I just wanted to let it be known that I support Bristol and the entire Palin family.

Hey... if we can find “technology” to control the weather and stop that horrible “global warming” from happening, ya never know what else might happen!
Maybe you can get the government to throw a few billion or trillion your way! ;-)
Maybe you should have read further up the thread to see people jumping on me for saying: "Somehow, I don't think I'll end up in Bristol Palin's position any time soon." in response to another Freeper's remark.
Does it make sense now, or do we have to continue the renditions of Ron Paul (someone who Sarah Palin apparently described as "cool" in a media interview)?
Doesn't excuse your class warfare...
Class warfare, eh?
There are only three classes of people that I loathe: criminals, politicians, and stupid people.
I apologize for the redundancies in the above statement.
...jealous comments...
Why would I be jealous of a treacherous liberal RINO like McCain?
I only pointed out how his daughter was bitching about life being "so hard" while her family chills on taxpayer money. Pointing that out isn't jealousy; it's only making further note of the McCains' elitism and the fact that they are out of touch with more common citizens.
Now, I seem to remember Freepers having no qualms about denigrating and poking fun at the children of other liberals, including the daughter of one well-known Democrat presidential candidates. To refrain from talking about McCain's daughter's dumb comments, especially since she is blogging "from the campaign trail" and claims to have no affiliation with McCain's official campaign (yet carries photos from the stage at his rallies, and they are definitely not from the media), would be hypocritical of us, now wouldn't it?
But hey, standards don't apply to the families of liberals whose names are followed by an (R)!
With apologies to the Bard.
We could cure the disease known as liberalism slash RINO cancer?
Who is trash talking you? You said you had two daughters if I am not mistaken. The same situation can happen to any family with daughters.
Am I clearer to you? ;-)
I never said anything about you getting pregnant. I could tell by the way you were posting that you were a male without a clue. While your on your high moral high horse let me remind you of something someone said a long time ago. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
