Interviews with Gov. Palin on CNBC now. Not sure how long ago but very interesting. Smart woman.
Doubt it. My nephew works for her, and didn’t know. I think this administration is going to do great.
Mayor of Chicago wants to activate the national guard to combat the out of control crime that has gripped the city. Could be the reason the press won’t go to Chicago
Thank you SO MUCH for posting this. I was 5:42 seconds into it when I realized that I hadn’t heard her pause or repeat herself or say uh, so I started to monitor. But I lost count when she said the words that gave me goosebumps. “Our position of strength in my administration, we know, is our State constitution.” I can’t tell you what that does for a 10th ammendmentist like me. God, I LOVE her!
I doubt ZerObama needed to help any Hyde Park residents.
Not exactly the G-etto.
She is going to shatter the misconceptions about ANWR that we’ve all realized for years. God Bless Sarah!
Guess I owe HardStarboard a nickle.
that and she sounds “normal” for lack of a better word. And more importantly, at least for me, she didn’t dance the questions, she actually fully and clearly said what she believes and would support without rambling on and on with a non answer like some candidates who I won’t mention...
Maybe the reason she sounds normal to me is her accent, very much like an outstate Minnesotan...long o’s...
she’ll do very well against old man Biden in their debate.
. Ha....all those unemployed steel workers better boogie on up to Alaska to particiupate in the $50Billion gas pipeline job the Governer Sarah Palin just negotiated.
Steel workers?
Hey, better story, if any journalist would cover it, is “Grove Parc Plaza”.
Interview the people who live there!
I said that McCain should have a news conference there. He should visit these people and have a news conference in front!
As a state senator, Obama As a state senator, coauthored an Illinois law creating tax credits for developers, who run these public housing units. Tony Rezko got money to run 11 of them. Most of them are now being condemned. Poor people are losing their homes, while rich contributers to Obama’s campaign, have made millions. At least he could have given the money to the “poor folks”.
Some of the residents of Grove Parc say they are angry that Obama did not notice their plight. The development straddles the boundary of Obama’s state Senate district. Many of the tenants have been his constituents for more than a decade.
“No one should have to live like this, and no one did anything about it,” said Cynthia Ashley, who has lived at Grove Parc since 1994.
How many homes did people LOSE because of you and your rich friends, Mr. Obama?
Thank you so much! I loved this. We need to laugh...
He was a “community organiser”.
The question is, what was he organising them for? To fight street crime? Work crews? Street clean up? Businesses to make money? What did he do. They throw words out like, “empowerment” and things like that. I want details. And I want a report on the results of his organisation. Where is the success?
Thank you so much. This is one impressive woman.
Don’t you recognise the accent? It is a lot like a Canadian accent. Comes from living in the cold, I guess!
Whatever he was “organizong” it was EXTREMELY lucrative.
It’s a good thing my FRiend! We will not have to worry about national security with this administration coming. They know from others, that loose lips, sink ships.
We will not have to worry about national security with this administration coming.
Can't agree with you on that. McCain's open borders, pro illegal alien positions are a real and present danger to our security.
Could be interesting - Palin has no use for illegals. In Alaska, we don’t have mehican invasion, we have it from “other places”. Anchorage has a serious gang problem. so this will be something to see if “Juan” wants to get smart and be John.
I live in WV and our problems with illegals here are small. It’s one of the reasons I moved here to die. Before this, I lived in NYC for more than 55 yrs. There the problem is large, but not just Mexicans. Chinese, Korean, Russian, Irish, Haitian, Albanian, Nigerian, Dominican, name a Middle Eastern or Central or South American country...they all have sizeable illegal communities there. The fact that nothing is done about this and that McCain has shown absolutely NO intention of doing anything save for amnesty, I find quite disturbing.

Maybe the New York Times and the Washington Post don't have the money to send reporters to the South side of Chicago to check with the families Obama "helped" or to Grove Parc Plaza. It's sooooooooo much cheaper to send reporters off to Alaska to interview every person in Palin's home town...
The folks from the Washington Post or the New York Times are brave enough to go to Iraq - they can go to Chicago’s south side...
