Great news! Only problem I see at this point is the damn hurricane. The McCain camp has to be ready to put hurricane victims ahead of convention. Otherwise, the MSM will have a field day with them.

If McCain plays his cards right, he can make chicken salad out of chicken sh*t. He can turn the opening night of the convention into a Red Cross Donation telethon to contrast himself with Bush. These guys are pros, and this is actually a golden opportunity to show leadership in a literal storm.

Its just common decentcy, something the McCain campaign has, but apparently some high officials in the Democratic Party don’t, they were even caught laughing about it on a plane (pretty pathetic, if you ask me..). I wasn’t even praying against the “Obama Speech” as some republicans/pastors were, because God doesn’t work like that.

As I understand per ABC News both President Bush and Vice President Cheney will not be at the RNC and the RNC will be shorter than normal in deference to those who live in areas where the Hurricane may hit. Let it never be said that Republicans do not have a caring heart. Same cannot be said about those other people with the Donkey as a symbol of their party . . . and rightly so.
