McCain has demonstrated with his pick of Sarah Palin for his running mate that his positions on issues like (for example) drilling in the arctic are not set in concrete. You think he's going to totally dismiss the input of his Vice President? And so far as tax cuts, McCain will adhere to the economic reality, which is based in an old Reagan maxim: 'if you want more of something, you subsidize it, if you want less of it, you tax it'.
