It would be most interesting to know whether Schumer has any Wall Street hedge fund friends who were short IndyMac shares...

I think thats the basis for the investigation-the leak was perfectly time for the shorts. Chuck is the slimiest senator out there..

IndyMac lost 80% of their value in 2007 (and about 95% in 2008 before Schumer made their announcement). Their losses exceeded 30 Billion Dollars before Schumer even looked at them. The executives at IndyMac are trying to play us for fools.

That doesnt matter to me-Schmuckie is always the first to call for a Republican to step down due to the “seriousness of the charge”. He is a parasite and must be removed. We are about to run a story garnered from sources at the SEC. As soon as one part of the leak is confirmed, Im posting it on my blog. Stay tuned!

HE DID IT FIRST!!!

Well, that’s a great reasoning for a 6 year old. But conservatives are supposed to be mature. And I’ll be d@mned if I’m going to support a bunch of executives who made millions for themselves by giving loans out to illegal immigrants.

We disagree. The GOP wont stand up to media and other outlets who cover for liberals and democrats, so I will. It doesnt make a difference at this stage how culpable the executives are, the bottom line is schmuckie leaked a memo he wasnt allowed to, causing a run the bank, tossed a number of employees on the street and greatly benefitted the shorts. That needs to be investigated. Schmuckie is in bed with hedge fund managers, we know that, and if any of his friends on Wall Street shorted Indymac right before his leak, someone needs to go to prison, starting with schmuckie..

I agree Schumer should be blamed for this and other hare-brained subversiveness. But does anyone really believe Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown will do anything principled or that might offend the Democrat hierarchy? Brown wants to be CA governor again. He may huff and puff a little but it’ll be boob bait for the bubbas, as the late Sen. Patrick Moynihan called it.

"Brown wants to be CA governor again. "

All the more reason to go after Schumer and make Brownie points with Californians. No pun intended.
