I think God might place
the succesor of SAint Peter,
Pope Benedict XVI,
who is the earthly leader
of God’s eternal and universal Church,
at a higher pay grade
than the President of the young USA.

I’m Catholic, but I put them at the same pay grade: effectively infinite. The POTUS isn’t just the leader of our “young nation.” Because of the US’s position in the world, he is effectively the single most powerful person in terms of secular power on the planet. The Pope is the most powerful religious person. Both max out their respective “pay grades.”
