You bring up an idea i have had for sometime. Every post gets a poll attached to it. If enough of a percentage of viewers do not like it or find it inappropriate they can vote it off - automatically. This would save a lot of Admin time and help keep the site directed to stuff the members are interested in. My pet peeve is sports postings. There are a zillion places on the net to post sports crap why take up this space. Oh and I could care less what Holmes wears or about her life.

Think about how much folks on this site complain about when this happens on Amazon reviews. There would need to be some sort of weighting system built in so people with an agenda couldn't create multiple accounts or group together to ban articles that many others are interested.

IMHO, community involvement already does this. If no one was interested in this article, no one would respond, and it would slowly fade away. The fact people are posting to this article, shows interest, even if the commentary may not be what the original OP intended. The free market approach, if no one buys something, it reduces the chance of it being sold in the future.

Then ignore them.. Remember, there are more posters than you. Others (as demonstrated by this thread) may be interested in some aspects of this story. Some for fashion, some, like myself, to mock the authors, others, like yourself, as a place to vent about articles you don't like. It serves a purpose. There is a market for even stupid fashion articles. By using this as a place to 'vent' you are helping this type of article keep its life.

These were in style from 1971-78 and IMHO were far more complimentary to a womans figure than the current Muffin-makin low risers that most girls wear today.

I say bring these back PLEASE so I don't have to deflect my eyes from the rolls that overflow the current lowrise jeans.
