Try taking an english class, DUmmie. What does English have to do with anything? We're a multicultural country now...

it would be nice if some of the other 240 counties that are smaller got someObviously, this DUmmie thinks like Obama. We shouldn't be embarrassed that the best athletes from all 57 states are representing the USA.

Do these idiots forget that before the fall of the Soviet Union they used to collect a hefty medal count at every Summer Olympics, beating us many times? Heck, we got beat in medal count by East Germany a couple of times.

The young pros in the soccer tournament are often far better than the young men we can send, for example.
[Imagine the outcry when the United States finally wins a World Cup.]Sorry, Paul...I can't imagine something that will never happen. Same as imagining a DUmmie being rational, or visualizing soccer being interesting.

Heck, we got beat in medal count by East Germany a couple of times. Yes, but our female gymnasts didn't end up shaving in their twenties. ;-)

Right now I’ve got Men’s 200m Freestyle swimming.
But I had to switch over from the NASCAR race. Priorities and all that. :-)

They were just showing that hottie Michael Phelps' silver medal swim, but it doesn't say "Live" in the corner of the screen or anything. I'm confused as well.
It's weird that we - seven to ten hours ahead of the States depending on the time zone there are getting the same feed. I guess we're getting the same NBC feed they're running back home.
One thing we're not getting is any commercials. Just military PSAs.

1936 was an especially embarrassing year when that holier- than-thou gang member Jesse Owens won way too many gold medals. Does the US have to win all the time? Gawd, there ARE other countries you know!
To: JRios1968
Sorry, Paul...I can't imagine something that will never happen. Same as imagining a DUmmie being rational, or visualizing soccer being interesting. True. But if it ever does happen, I'm sure the DUmmies will be up in arms.

There was a pretty cool wipeout in womens bicycling just before I posted this. I saw that! It's got to be hard to do that in the rain. They're back on the cycling now.
Rain keeps getting on the camera lenses. LOL

I hate cycling in any kind of inclement weather. I need something with disc brakes.

It's got to be hard to do that in the rain. It's got to be hard to do that on a cool sunny day. That hill was wicked. If I were in that competition, I'd be the one walking the bike. ;-)

That is what I had just mentioned to my wife.
Right on. Bring down everyone who has worked hard, all in the effort to make life, “fair.”
Liberalism is a mental disease. These same idiots on DU aren't voluntarily willing to give up their computers to Zimbabwean citizens so they can get on the internet.
Liberalism marks its supporters as massive fools, fortunately. The rest of us then know who to keep our children away from.

To be honest, this just shows that some people are plain crazy. If that guy had any honor he should kill himself! Save the world from his pathetic mess.

IIRC, in the past when they ran stuff during the day they showed an edited version of it in prime time.
