I must tell you what happened today.
I had lunch with 2 of my beautiful Daughters. They are thinking on voting for Obama!
With calmness I was able to ask sensible questions and give well informed information about his positions on abortion, taxes, WOT, and other topics.
(ALL because of FREE REPUBLIC!)
One brought up Obama’s gun stance and said she didn’t like it.
THEY ARE Conservatives but they have been listening to CNN!

Thanks, CC. I've been on this site a long time (10 yr. anniversary coming up in a few months), but haven't been able financially to contribute until recently.

One reason that I've spent most of my time here lurking and not posting is that I didn't believe I had earned the right to be heard since I didn't support the site financially. It didn't feel right to take advantage of a forum that others were paying for.

Now that I've taken the plunge, I might be posting more often in the future. I will be donating more in the future as well, as long as I am able.
