The firearm check at the door is to prevent loaded guns getting ‘mixed in’ with unloaded guns. While you should always check the status of a gun when picked up, this helps clear the floor of loose rounds that might be accidentally loaded and fired. It's not absolute, but better than the alternative.

What's wrong with ‘comrade Obama’, he is a Communist after all. Ever hear him talk feverishly and passionately about American freedom and liberty. Say use the same tone as he uses when trying to tear down America. I thought so.
