If you read the Hebrew Bible you will see that Judaism is not merely a religion but a 100% life system with legal and military components.

All Orthodox Jews (at least theoretically).
In contrast we have hundreds of millions of Muslims who love Jihad and even more who like what they do. Plus the passive Muslims are pumping out Muslims babies as fast as the militants ones

As I said, I am not defending islam. However, I am defending the ancient pre-Western worldview which islam shares with Judaism, that there is no such thing as "religion" separate from the rest of life. That's all.
Judaism is a covenant with a specific nation rather than a missionary religion, so there it differs from islam (though it is supposed to be missionary for the Noachide Laws). However, theoretically and objectively the world is a Theocracy governed by Halakhah (Mosaic for Jews, Noachide for non-Jews). All history is moving towards the Redemption when this will be made manifest to all.

Just the way it has come out in history is that Islam has had Islamic Caliphates based on military force subjugation and conquest for centuries. While the Jews have lacked Jewish military kingdoms for most of their existence. And the ones they had were tiny compared to the Muslims
