Looks like the dad is wrong in that clip.
“The problem isn’t a lack of “good guys”—the problem is usually that women like Minnie are too critical and picky...
No, women like Minnie are just plain stupid.”
No, it’s because she is a mean, stupid B**CH. This is the same woman who smacked a flight attendant with a People Magazine because there was a story in it staying that she and Matt Damon has broken up. Granted Damon didn’t have the courtesy to tell her to her face, but she didn’t have to hit the flight attendant.
She’s about to give birth to his child and he’s just some “guy” who she may or may not decide to stay with.
Another narcissist overpaid diva getting knocked up and decides to make a statement about how liberating it all is and drag the rest of us into her fantasyland.
Sure she can. She has enough money to rent a crew of full time nannies to raise the child for her. Did you really expect her to take time off from her career to care for a child when the world will be at such a loss without her acting abilities?
Interesting how that independence, *female thing* were set aside in order to create the baby in the first place -- apparently she did need a man at some point. Brudder.
Wonder how her Wonderdog will do when the kid needs 9:00, 10:30, 1, 3, and 5 am feedings.
Fathers are handy to have, if for no other reason than they let Mom sleep occasionally. :-)
....and breathtakingly selfish, considering that she appears to want to raise her child without the father, who is not, I’m assuming, a criminal, drug addict, alcoholic, etc. What kind of a mother would actually intentionally deny her child the experience of having a father just so she can get “into feeling this female thing”?
I feel bad for her child for having such a self centered half wit for a mother.
That's what the little people nanny will do. This woman would not get up at those times because she might get dark circles under her eyes.
I've always wondered why people have kids and don't bother to raise them.... If you just hire someone (a nanny, daycare) to take care of them, what's the point to begin with?
Sure, people gotta work. But they don't need to work ALL of the time. :-)
I took my oldest to the playground the other day. There were a couple of other parents there. They all had cellphones attached to the ears and were sitting on the benches outside the playground...basically, they were just their kids' driver. How lousy is that? Where's the fun?
Meanwhile, WBill Jr. and I were rounding up all of the Indians (and Darth Vader, and some monsters...gimme a break, he's not even three....) and figuring out a way to take them to jail. We had a blast, particularly when a real police officer came by and let the boy sit in his car. (The other parents were too busy to notice, or didn't care to...) My boy had a blast, and it was even more fun talking about it before he went to bed that evening.
When the kids turn 18 and disappear, I think those other parents will wonder where the time went. I'll know. And hopefully, my boys and I will have figured out a way to round up Darth Vader by then.
/rant off.
What a stupid b*tch.
They are a dime a dozen like Minnie up here in Toronto. I see them in the pubs at night, drunk and angry.
Not if Mom is nursing. But aside from that, fathers (not to mention husbands) are an extremely positive feature in all kinds of ways.
Embodiment of the liberal lie. It’s all about her and her feelings. Her child be damned if he or she interferes with how she thinks. Thank the Lord the child isn’t being murdered but still sick.
She is just wrong!
