Your response to me about Savage was “that’s no excuse for this level of sloppy talk,” and you proceeded to do exactly that in your next post “to someone else” (as if this weren’t an open forum) and I called you on it (So I did respond to you: two post in one!)
I wrote “There you go. You just employed the same type of rhetoric Savage did. In fact, your entire career on this thread is you making a federal case about Savage exaggerating to make a point.” You can’t legitimately deny it. {and thanks for the opportunity to fix my typo).

Isn’t Michael Savage more than a shock jock? I remember reading somewhere that he’s an M.D.
IIRC, Master’s degrees in medical botany and medical anthropology and Ph.D. in nutritional medicine, University of California, Berkeley.

Who gets disability checks for autism or ADHD or asthma? You don’t.
Let me add, some severely autistics may. But you don’t get anything for ADHD or asthma.

They dont and they could care less. They know (or dont know) what they want . (I would add that some of the posters here arent the sharpest knives in the drawer.)
I’m working with a man right now who has two sons with autism, and one is supposedly “slightly” autistic and is receiving disability payments for both of them. And unless they changed it recently, you do get disability for ADHD.
I have a cousin “diagnosed” with Asperger. He’s actually just a surly little bastard who’d rather be left alone.
He has the right to be different, does he not, without being medicated?
Savage is an entertainer, but one with a scientific background, which neither you nor I have. Since his opinion doesn’t affect me one way or another, I’m willing to let him express it on HIS radio show, rather than be dragged into an emotional reaction by Media Matters.

If he had been medicated it probably would have dulled his creative edge and he would not have had the drive to do what he did.
You DO understand that ADD/ADHD and Autism are not the same brain disorders don’t you.

Yes I do. And you don't have to get so nasty.
My mother also had asthma very badly. And we all had some sort of illness or another. But we never thought about going on the public dole because of it.
