True, but I wonder how much the divorce itself has impacted that. A lot of people go through depression following divorce.
The courts should presume equal custody. Current laws force custody battles which just add to the pressure.
Perhaps. But if the Guardian Ad Litem and other court officials are doing their job, long term history was taken into account. If the evaluation was done correctly, people who know BOTH of them were asked a set of questions by the court, psych records were pulled for the past few years, etc. (That’s the way it worked in our son’s divorce.)
