Only if he's running for President. He's not yet. He's not even the official nominee for his party. All of this is just internal Democrat party stuff so far, I think.
I think that's why it's not getting a huge amount of attention yet. But you can bet that as soon as he becomes the official nominee (if he does) that somebody is going to sue to determine if he's actually qualified to be the President.

If I had to take bets, I would bet that everyone power broker in the Dem party knows that Obama has a problem with citizenship and that the struggle right now is whether to totally destroy the constitutional requirements for Presidency or not. The left wants our system of government destroyed. What better way than to elect a leader in the popular media, portray him as President and saviour, and then have the nasty old Republicans disqualify him on a technicality.
If I were paranoid, I would say they've been setting up this scenario for years to foment a civil war. They've been repeating the mantra that Bush was selected, not elected, in both elections and when their candidate becomes disqualified they're hoping for war to break out and destroy us.
It's ironic that what may be standing in their way is the power lust of the Clintons. The Clintons may want to destroy the country too, but they want to make sure that when it goes down they're in a position of power, wealth and authority.
But I could be all wet too.
Forgery?
Wow I have to say I am very impressed. As a professional graphic artist with many years experience manipulating digital images, this analysis is right on the money.
I will add that this does explain the blocked certificate number, which seems like a small thing, but I think is telling.
The big question is why? Why the forgery? I am tempted to think that rather than hiding information that would disqualify him, they may be hiding information that may embarrass him. What if no father is listed? What if no baby name is listed? For example my father’s birth certificate says “no name” as they hadn’t named him yet. And if that’s the case, will he be made to appear the victim of the heartless internet bloggers?
Everything B.O. does worries me, because his intentions are often unclear and devious. So why this whole COLB thing? Why not an obvious scan of a piece of paper? If I was going to “prove” I had a certain piece if paper, I would certainly make sure for instance that you could see the edges of the paper, and/or leave intact any other obvious clues that it was a scanned image. So why the deliberate forgery, why the obfuscation over something as simple as a COLB or birth certificate?
I don’t think that proves it because the Left is full of people willing to throw themselves under the bus. They take it upon themselves to do the work of others. That’s just another reason why the left is so dangerous, they don’t all sit down and plan together, it only takes a few to make plans, and the lemmings take it upon themselves to “do their part” for the cause.
Impressive analysis. This is the first I have seen comparing COLB forms from 2007 and 2008 to Obama’s Kos certificate. It finally explains the differing border styles between ealier COLB’s and ones from 2006 on.

No...I would think that when you file the paperwork to run for president, you are declaring you meet the requirements. Just as for instance voter registration, you must declare on the paperwork you are a citizen and eligible to vote, just as you can’t lie on the rest of it (name, SS#, etc). So it may be vote fraud if you vote fraudulently or incorrectly (more than once etc), a false voter registration is also against the law on some level. So falsely “applying” for president I think is more than just an issue of being disqualified. I would venture a guess that soliciting and collecting money under a false pretense would open you up to all sorts of further charges than just the fraud of misrepresentation.
If you collect a lot of money from across the nation running for something that you are not qualified to do and you withhold that little bit of info.......wouldn't that be considered fraud?
Kos said (on the thread that shows the COLB) that he received it from the campaign.
Did the campaign give Kos a fake? Is the COLB on Obama’s “fight the smears” site the SAME as the one they gave Kos?
I don’t know. I expect there’s only a handful of people who DO know.
Some very smart people have made the point that if there was a problem with circumstances surrounding Obama’s birth, Hillary would have found it and made it known by now- and likely before the primaries were over. This makes sense, logically. It’s possible her PI’s didn’t dig deep enough, or that whatever they found was muddy enough that it would be difficult for her to use. This campaign season is so odd that things we’d normally take for granted- like the supremacy of Hillary’s oppo research team may be mistaken.
HOWEVER- the COLB issue is important because it’s part of the Big Picture with Obama. The picture of the short and un-illuminating paper trail of this candidate is extraordinary to me- and yet the reporting about that is equally short.
WHY?
I'm not an expert of course, but as I said he's not running for President...yet. No matter how much the media talks about it, no matter how much he talks about it, he's not officially running yet. I'm sure someone could sue him for taking their donation under false pretenses, but at this point is it a civil or criminal offense? I don't know the answer to this.
I hope that techdude contacted the proper authorities and that this vandalism is under investigation — since local police may not be up to the thoroughness needed, I would hope those authorities included the FBI, since this is intimidation and interference associated with a federal election.
It looks as though the code for the web page has bad image source links (perhaps from a draft) with good links directly below them. I don’t think anything is missing.
They aren’t loading for me either, but given how slowly the page loaded, I think it’s a server issue.
I think it would certainly make it tough to get ads out about her, and alot of the party is already feeling sorry for her. I think if she brought this up in September, she would win.

Techdude seems to know “people” from reading his earlier analyses, I expect he’s taken whatever action he believed was correct.
It’s hard to know just how much of this intimidation is ongoing- if it’s isolated or not. The person who started a birth certificate petition website was sufficiently frightened (after being tracked down) by the threats to him/her and family, that he/she took the site down.
