Fox called yesterday.
Where’s the video Kevin? anyone capture it? I’m at the beach.
Someone would have to post a video, I could not be in two place at one time ;~)
I’ll get up early to see you.
Hopefully you can get in a Plug for Free Republic !!!
I was happy to read the quote from Fr. Paul Keenan. I always enjoyed listening to him on WABC NY Religion on the Line, Sunday mornings and was disappointed when he left to do other things. I never heard anything about him after that. It was a shock to me a few weeks ago to hear that he had passed away.
Thanks for all you do.
Thanks for the ping trooprally!
Thanks for all you do, Trueblackman. We all appreciate it.
bump for video link!
Good work dude!
ANy chance it will be posted on YouTube?
So sad, Fr. Paul memorial service and Tony Snow's funeral both on the same day.
In ways they both were so very similar.
DVR set bro, thanks for the heads up!
Have you been designated an Official Obama Criticizer? :)
I happened to wake up at 3am (West coast real time here) and put on the TV to Fox and there you were.
It was funny she started with the other guy, and then the hostette did a little lead-in/questions for you and as you started to talk she quickly said, “when we get back” (which was good, gave you time to think over her comments)
Unusually good segment, you countered the spin very professionally and would not let him interrupt you.
I think you got the "Marxist" comment in a couple of times.
Even the host let you make your points, and you were right on task with getting across all that you could in the short bit of time you had.
Fantastic job, "Kevin Martin, Conservative Blogger."
Didn't have time to set up the camera to record it, and didn't go on line yesterday so did not see this thread.
I’ll watch it ..cool...
Disregard. Left the browser open and someone messed with it.
Thank you! I love Rabbi Joe. He is just priceless. I have great respect for his intellect, humor, common sense and down-to-earth manner. I remember the first time I saw a photo of him. I was so surprised to see how young he is. I’m just thankful we can get his program down here near Philadelphia. I missed the first part of his program last Sunday so I didn’t hear when Father Paul died.
I only knew him from their radio program but he sounded like a very dear soul, unlike the Presbyterian minister whose name I’ve forgotten. I used to joke that if I lived in NYC—I did 54 years ago for 9 months and hated it—I’m a country gal—I’d have to convert!
I’ll have to check WABC on Thursday to see if Father Paul is mentioned.
Someone just expressed surprise that you referred to Hillary as “the most conservative of all three”. That thought has crossed my mind several times this year, as I’ve tried to assess the particular peculiarities of positioning and repositioning amongst all the candidates.
I think it’s true of Hillary (who, you’ll remember, started out as a Goldwater girl) in the same way the “opposite” is true of McCain-—in the sense that “somebody’s gotta represent the Right in this election, and it might as well be Hillary”. Hillary seems to have the potential to move to the Right in the same way that McCain has been steadily moving across the aisle leftward for many years. They might have just crossed paths,(and basically cancelled each other out?) if she’d been the one the DNC Chiefs chose, rather than this overconfident young man Obama. And there’s still some small voice in me that CONTINUES to whisper that she WILL get the nomination by the time Denver rolls around.
