Every parking lot you see, even at provincial parks, are pay-parking. In fact, we noticed user-fees on almost everything you could see in the open...

How are you supposed to pay for free health care if you don't. Never mind that their lowest marginal tax rate is 40%...that's not enough to cover it.

Good article.Must admit i’ve never been to Canada-but lots of experience dealing w Canadians on vacation in Fl.As a kid i worked many summers on StPete Beach.Don Cesar,Breckinridge,various restraunts,etc.For the most part i found Canadians very gregarious,polite,just regular people(despite being lousy tippers).Folks from Quebec were a totally different experience.Rude,arrogant,surly.....Hard to imagine folks so different,but from the same country.
